CANCELLATIONS

For in-shop classes:

The Center for Plant-based Living (CPBL) classes are filled on first-come basis and payment must be made at the time of registration. Registration can be done online via our website. We accept Mastercard and Visa.

If you are unable to attend a class after purchasing, we encourage you to send a substitute. Due to the availability of ingredients, sometimes we might substitute recipes in class or, because of time constraints, not every recipe scheduled is prepared (but you will still have the recipe!). Per the St. Louis health department, food cannot be taken from our premises.

Cancellations made outside of 7 days from from class/program start will receive a full refund (minus the 3% fee we incur to run your card initially). Otherwise we are unable to refund. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue rain checks.

COVID-19 UPDATE:

We are back up to full capacity in the shop. Please feel free to wear a mask if you wish. The instructor and assistants have all been fully vaccinated and will not be wearing any face coverings.

For virtual classes:

All classes require payment at the time of registration. We use ZOOM to broadcast, you do not need a ZOOM account, but we ask that you please become familiar with the platform before showtime. Within 24 hours of registration, you will receive an email containing:

  1. Log-in information to the class

  2. a PDF with the recipes if you choose to cook along with us (which is super fun!).

We kindly ask that you not share log-in info with anyone else as these classes are set to a small number so that the learning experience is really great for everyone!

Sorry, there are no refunds for virtual classes, however, you will still receive the menu and recipes to use at any time.

PARKING

There should be ample parking in Downtown Kirkwood (yay!). There is a lot to the east of PJ’s (our neighbor to the east). A lot across the street next to Mike Duffy’s and street parking outside of CPBL. Additionally, St. Peter’s Parish (corner of Clay and Jefferson) also allows parking.

If you are attending a daytime class (Monday-Saturday), the Kirkwood Police Dept. actively enforces their two hour parking rule. If you are visiting Kirkwood more than 2 hours, feeding the meter is an option as is visiting the Downtown Kirkwood Business office located at 130 E. Jefferson (just across Kirkwood Rd. on the south side of the street). There you can purchase a one-day parking pass for a mere $5.00. This will allow you to park the entire day with no hassle.
